Amirkabir University of Technology ranked first in International Patent Registration and second in National Patent Registration, according to the president of the Islamic World Science and Technology

Head of the Islamic World Science and Technology Citation and Monitoring Institute (ISC) announced the national and international performance of the country's universities in the patent registration index, with Amirkabir University of Technology ranking first in international patent registration and second in national patent registration among the industrial universities.
According to the Public Relations Office of Amirkabir University of Technology, Dr. Seyed Ahmad Fazl-Zadeh, the president of ISC, announced that out of 28 participating industrial universities, 9 successful universities have registered 51 international invention patents. Among these universities, "Amirkabir University of Technology" secured the first rank with 24 registered invention patents, and Sharif University of Technology secured the first and second ranks with 12 registered invention patents, surpassing other universities.
It is worth mentioning that out of 28 participating industrial universities in the ISC ranking, 25 universities have national patent registrations. Among them, Isfahan University of Technology, Amirkabir University of Technology, and Iran University of Science and Technology have secured the first to third ranks with 67, 53, and 28 national patent registrations, respectively.
